I need more fics/snippets of Lucy and Holly just being friends. being gal pals. bonding over whatever they do when they have nothing to do. having sleepovers in Lucy’s attic where they gossip and paint each other’s nails and listen to music. just being gurls.
maybe Holly is into scrapbooking and she gets Lucy into scrapbooking too. Holly brings over a huge blank scrapbook and a bin of scraps for Lucy to start with, and she shows Lucy some of her old scrapbooks. Lucy gathers a bunch of her Polaroids and compiles them in the scrapbook, writing little notes next to them. When they run out of those, they grab Lucy’s camera and run downstairs to take a bunch of obnoxious and hilarious pictures of the boys, without explaining why. George shrugs it off, but Lockwood is EXTREMELY curious.
Once the girls run back upstairs and put all the new dorky pictures of the boys in the scrapbook, they start taking dorky pictures of each other. At one point, Holly challenges Lucy to put on all the sweaters she owns and pose for a picture. Hilarity ensues. Lucy challenges Holly to let her do Holly’s makeup. The results are abysmal. Hilarity ensues.
Eventually, a still-very-curious Lockwood puts together a tray full of the girls’ favorite snacks and carries it up to the attic. They let him in (only on account of the snack tray), and he catches a few glimpses of the scrapbook on the floor. Rather than comment on Holly’s makeup (which is a struggle), he asks to look through the scrapbook. But flipping through all the dorky pictures has all three of them laughing so hard that George eventually joins the party, wondering what all the ruckus is about.
More dorky pictures are taken. Snacks are consumed. Lucy paints Lockwood’s nails (and Holly whispers to George that Lucy used her favorite shade to do so. George whispers back that Lockwood probably asked Lucy to paint his nails so that she would hold his hand).
